These commands may either be used to send a string back to the host to execute a host command or they may be used to execute a Windows application.
  • The images may be “smart” with an “Auto Screen Detection” feature. This feature allows you to automatically select images based on the application screen being displayed. It is particularly useful, if you are using Flip, Multi, Swap or any other multi-screen host application and would like to take advantage of the image display or user context menus.
  • A new command is now added to define “smart” user context menus with the “Auto Screen Detection” feature as described above. This new feature allows you to “automatically” display different context menus based on the application screen that is currently being displayed.
  • The application would now remember the startup working folder and look for Windows program in that folder when asked to invoke a Windows program.
  • Added a facility to show items and sub-menus in the ‘user defined menus’ as grayed.

  • The application will now convert attribute characters (field terminals) and non-printable graphics characters shown on the screen to ‘spaces’ when the screen text is copied to the clip-board. They were appearing as control characters currently, thus causing problems when copied as text.
  • Two levels of sub-menu are now available. This new feature is applicable to both User Defined Menus and User Defined Context menus.
  • New commands are now available to delete or replace a previously defined Menu Item. Another new command allows you to add new menu items without deleting the old ones. For reference and to get more details, please refer to sample files DELMNU.BAS, RPLMNU.BAS and ADDMNU.BAS, respectively.
  • Added ability to pre-load a previously saved screen (or host commands) at startup from a screen file (.SCR). This screen is loaded prior to making the connection to the host and executing the startup commands. The screen file may be generated by using the Data Logging function and storing the screen data.
  • Replaying a Log file was unnecessarily clearing Context menus, etc.
  • Added host commands to Start Logging screen data to a file, stop logging the data to the file and replay a previously stored screen file.
  • Added host command to load different User Defined Key (.udk) files.
  • The UDK settings were not getting saved sometimes.
  • Short-cut names may be appended to the item names in User menus and Context menus by using \t (for tab) prior to the short-cut name. Including \t (for tab) will line up shortcuts for all items within a menu.
